I began my professional career as an apprentice industrial photographer in 1978 for a large international car components company.
The first photograph in this series was taken in 1978 (forest Fire), when my passion for documentary photography grew. I used to come home from work and take photos of the community I lived in, in the Gwent Valleys, South Wales. I have always made my living from photography and lately, film making.
All the pictures were taken whilst on assignment for a respective newspaper/magazines/television or on long term major commissions for publication and/or exhibitions.
